What We Are Looking For

We are hiring dependable, energetic crew members for event cleaning at venues across the Tampa Bay area. Events move fast and demand long hours — shifts can run 8–12+ hours and often extend late into the night (up to 3:00 AM) or start in the early morning (as early as 5:00 AM). You must be comfortable with physically demanding work and able to communicate clearly with your supervisor and teammates to keep operations running smoothly under tight timelines.

This is an ongoing recruitment effort. We are building a reliable crew roster so that as events come up, we can quickly staff qualified, experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Event: Assist with setup cleaning including surface detailing, restroom preparation, trash station placement, and getting spaces guest-ready.
  • During Event: Maintain cleanliness throughout the venue — trash removal and liner swaps, restroom upkeep, spill response, and high-touch surface sanitizing. Adapt as crowds shift.
  • Post-Event: Execute deep cleaning including debris removal, floor restoration, restroom deep cleans, and final detailing to leave the venue spotless.
  • Follow all directions from the Event Supervisor and communicate any issues, supply needs, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Handle all equipment responsibly and return tools and supplies in good condition.
  • Wear the company uniform and photo ID at all times while on site.

Required Skills & Physical Demands

  • Long Hours: Ability to work extended shifts (8–12+ hours), including late nights and early mornings. Event schedules do not follow a typical 9-to-5.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members in fast-paced, loud environments.
  • Ability to lift 25–50+ lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Comfortable working in high-energy, fast-paced event environments.
  • Previous event, janitorial, or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be willing to complete a background check.

Must-Haves

  • Reliable Transportation: Must have private transportation to and from the job site (event venues vary across Tampa Bay).
  • Weekend and evening availability; flexibility to accept shifts on short notice when events come up.
  • Smartphone for scheduling, checklists, photos, and team communication.
