What We Are Looking For
We are building our roster of reliable, hardworking part-time janitorial cleaning technicians for commercial facilities throughout the Tampa area. Hours vary by project and client need, making this a great opportunity for candidates seeking flexible, steady work. As new contracts come in, qualified candidates in our database will be among the first contacted for placement.
This is an ongoing recruitment effort to fill current and future openings as our client base grows.
We have positions starting as soon as next week.
Responsibilities
- Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms throughout each shift.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles; replace liners and transport waste to designated areas.
- Maintain lobbies, hallways, break rooms, offices, and all common areas to company standards.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, elevator buttons, and handrails.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks including carpet care, window cleaning, and floor maintenance as directed.
- Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to your supervisor immediately.
- Properly use, clean, and store all cleaning equipment and chemicals following safety protocols.
- Wear the company uniform and photo ID at all times while on site.
Required Skills & Physical Demands
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for full shifts, and perform bending, reaching, and kneeling.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, presentable spaces.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working evenings, nights, or weekends based on project needs.
- Must be willing to complete a background check.
Must-Haves
- Reliable Transportation: Must have private transportation to and from the job site.
- Flexible availability for assigned shifts (hours vary by project and client).
- Smartphone for scheduling via Agendrix, checklists, and team communication.
