Are you an experienced cleaner who possesses a proactive and friendly demeanor? We’re in search of a dedicated individual to join our team as a janitor for our client in Fort Myers. You’ll play a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness standards of their premises.
Task List:
- Execute basic maintenance tasks proficiently
- Thoroughly sanitize and maintain restrooms, reception areas, lunchrooms, classrooms, and offices
- Replenish restroom and sanitation supplies
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Ensure cleanliness of furniture, equipment, and interior windows
- Handle janitorial equipment
- Manage inventory
Requirements:
- Proficiency in operating housekeeping and janitorial equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- 1 year cleaning and light maintenance experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to talk and hear, as well as occasional sitting, standing, bending, and walking. Manual dexterity is necessary for tasks like typing and handling objects. The work environment primarily consists of indoor office settings.
Job Details:
- Part-time position
- Hourly wage starting from $16.50
- Expected hours: 12 per week
- Mon – Thur from 10pm – 1am, Friday 8pm – 11pm, Saturday 7pm to 10pm
- Work location: Beauty School
- Shift: 2 hours
- Evening shift
