Submission Query

Compose a 1,000-word essay detailing your vision for a local business that will significantly benefit your community. Address the following points in your essay:

  • Describe the nature of the business you aim to start.
  • Explain how your business will positively impact the community.
  • Detail the specific services your business will offer to achieve this impact.
  • Your essay should not only showcase your entrepreneurial spirit but also demonstrate a clear understanding of your community’s needs and how your business will address them.


Submission Requirements:

  • Please ensure your essay is uploaded in either Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format.
  • Your essay should contain at least 1,000 words but should not exceed 2,300 words.
  • All references or sources used must be appropriately cited.

Who Is Eligible?

This scholarship is open to students seeking a certification, certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in business or a field closely related.

What Is The Award Amount?

The total scholarship is $1,500 and will be distributed directly to the student. One student submission will be selected on Friday May 23rd, 2025.

When Is The Submission Deadline?

The deadline for all submissions will be 5:00 pm (EST) on Monday May 2nd, 2025

Essays submitted belong to the students: All submitted essays remain the property of the respective student. We may feature excerpts from outstanding essays on our website, press releases, and social media platforms. However, should a student request the removal of their excerpt, we will promptly comply.
